Mebo ("we," "our," or "the Company") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our memo and collaboration service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a better experience to all our users. The types of information we collect include:

• Identifier Information: When you sign in via Google, Apple, or X, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture URL.
• User Content: We store the memos you create, including text, images, and associated metadata (creation time, labels).
• Collaboration Data: We collect data about the Teams you belong to and the members you interact with within those Teams.
• Device and Usage Info: We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, and logs of how you interact with our features to improve app performance. We also collect User ID, Device ID, Advertising ID, and app usage data for analytics and service enhancements.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service (creating, storing, and syncing memos).
• To enable team collaboration features, allowing you to share memos with other members you designate.
• To identify you within the Service and display your profile to team members.
• To send important notices regarding service changes or security updates.
• To analyze and improve our Service's usability and performance.

3. Data Sharing and Team Privacy

Team Sharing: Any memos you explicitly share within a Team will be visible to all authorized members of that Team. We do not share your private memos with anyone outside of your designated team or public circles.

Third Parties: We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (like Firebase for hosting and database) as necessary to operate the Service, and these providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your information is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal profile and private memos from our active database within a reasonable timeframe, unless legal obligations require us to retain certain records.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your profile and content directly through the Mebo application. For any requests regarding your data rights, please contact us at the support email provided in the Service.

6. Security Measures

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure hosting on Firebase, to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
